Pottery club at Windlesham School

New to Windlesham School, this is an After School Pottery club on a Friday 4-5pm for children in school years 3-6 (ages 8+)

The first 3 weeks, we will cover the basic pottery techniques, coiling, slab building and pinch pots, from there the children will be able to make nearly anything. Each week I'll demonstrate a different project, then the children can make their versions. I'm also more than happy for children to have their own ideas and creations.

The pottery will be dried, fired in a kiln then the children will be able to glaze them at a future date.

My pottery club is £15 per week and this term is 11 weeks long.

Feel free to provide a t-shirt to be worn, so their uniform doesn't get covered in clay.

I give out a couple of snacks at the end of the pottery lesson and feel free to give them a snack, if they are likely to want it.
